The Edro III Shipwreck, Peyia, Cyprus photographed at sunset using partially submerged rocks in the foreground to anchor the image. I just loved the way the see lapped over the rocks in the foreground leaving water trails spilling over the edges as the waves retraced. I wanted to portray the motion of the sea and show the interaction between the beautiful coastline and the abandoned shipwreck at sunset in this magical location.
One of a series of photographs I took at this location over a couple of days and probably my personal favourite. You can see more images of the shipwreck and read about the history of how the Edro III ended up ran aground on the rocks of Peyia in my blog post Edro III Shipwreck.
