Definitely my hardest shoot of the year having to battle with 50mph gusts and sub zero temperatures with rolling clouds through the night. Not even 5 hand warmers could stop my lens from fogging due to frost but it was worth it in the end to get this final image. I took over 400 images during the night but unfortunately most were ruined by the clouds. ⠀
During blue hour I watched the best earth grazer I have ever seen travel slowly across the top of Tryfan like a fire ball, all I could do was stand and watch as I had just put down my tripod and my camera was still in the bag. The sight was truly magical if I had been a minute earlier I would have caught it but it was amazing to just stand there and watch in this stunning location.
