Isolated and forgotten

Isolated and forgotten this old cottage stands in a picturesque valley sheltered from the elements in the mountainous area of the Carneddau.

The feeling of remoteness and disconnection from the 21st century and thoughts of what it must have been like to live here battling the harsh weathers these mountains can endure.  Not my final image at this location as I really want to photograph this little cottage in the snow so hopefully over the winter months I can get the image I am after.
