how did u make the affect of the water so misty looking

Hi Oz,
There was a lot of sea fog that morning which was moving up the coast with the rising sun only showing through for a split second at a time. I decided to use a 6 stop ND filter to smooth out the movement and get the sun breaking through. It gave it a lovely look much better than other shots I took without the filter and faster shutter speed.
