A cold frosty winters morning photograph of the Dudmaston Boathouse located on the Dudmaston Hall Estate, Bridgnorth, Shropshire. It was a beautiful morning and I managed to capture the partially frozen lake with the golden glow of the sun just below the horizon with the boathouse as the key point of interest.
The boathouse is located on the lake of this beautiful 17th century country house estate which is now cared for by the national trust. The Broseley brick boathouse I believe dates to 1865 and has two gothic arched entrances to the water.
The estate stretches across 3,000 acres with many well maintained paths to explore such as the More Walk through the ancient Comer Woods which makes a great day out for all the family.
This is a large 4:1 ratio Panorama Photograph of the estate taken later the same morning which is also available as a fine art print.
