Returning home after a disappointing morning with very little mist around all of a sudden I drove into dense fog. It was a little frustrating as I was only one mile from my original destination where I had hoped to capture some mist and atmosphere on a national trust estate but as I looked to my left a lone tree stood in solitude.
The lone tree was back illuminated by the low winter sun as it tried to cut through the dense fog producing a soft, contemporary scene with little colour. I love the simplicity of this image and I new as the shutter on my camera went click it would be one of my favourites which I have called ‘Solitude’.
This photograph is called “Solitude” the lone tree secluded and isolated in an uninhabited space.
