Titled “Kiss of Winter” I came across this scene whilst walking in a dense Scottish forest where I was immediately struck by the bright contrast of the tree against the dark background.
Snow showers were drifting through the valley so I framed this shot in hope of one last snow fall before the light faded during sunset. Luckily within 30 minutes the snow began to fall so I could capture this abstract style photography.
Not your typical photograph I was expecting to capture from a trip to Scotland but sometimes it’s nice to not take the obvious and capture whatever nature presents you with. This way you always come away with something totally unique and different.
